Since his campaign for comptroller began earlier this month, Eliot Spitzer's wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, has been nowhere to be found. She has not made a single statement about his candidacy, nor appeared once with him in public. And last night, Spitzer acknowledged that it's not going to happen
