Second Woman Comes Forth with Harassment Accusations Against San Diego Mayor
Says he touched her butt
A second woman accused San Diego Mayor Bob Filner of sexual harassment on Tuesday, coming forward publicly the day after a lawsuit was filed against Filner.
Political consultant Laura Fink told local affiliate KPBS News in an interview that when she worked for the then congressman, he patted her "posterior" at the first fundraising event she organized for his campaign.
"One of the attendees at the party was giving me credit and saying I had done a wonderful job, and that I had worked my tush off for him and that he should appreciate my efforts," Fink told KPBS. "I was standing next to him, and he turned to me and he said, 'Turn around.' … And so I turned around, and he proceeded to take his hand and pat me on my posterior and laugh and say, 'No, it's still there.'"
