Twinkies Set To Return With Longer Shelf Life
They'll be back next week
(KTVI) – Twinkies are scheduled to return to store shelves next week and they'll be able to stay on shelves much longer.
Hostess says the tasty treat will have a shelf life of 45 days. That's three weeks longer than their previous 26-day span.
A Hostess spokesperson says the longer-lasting Twinkies actually hit store shelves last November before the company went bankrupt. The New York Post reported last week that Hostess will extend the life of Twinkies by freezing some.
