Intern at Reason This Fall!

The Burton C. Gray Memorial Internship program runs year-round in the Washington, D.C. office. Interns work for 10 weeks and receive a $5,000 stipend. Sometimes, they have fun.
The job includes reporting and writing for Reason and reason.com, helping with research, proofreading, and other tasks. Previous interns have gone on to work at such places as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, ABC News, and Reason itself.
To apply, send your résumé, up to five writing samples (preferably published clips), and a cover letter (the last of which should be in the body of your email--not an attachment) to intern@reason.com, with the subject line: Gray Internship Application. The deadline is August 20, July 1, 2013.
If your portfolio is not available in digital form (we really, really prefer digital), you can snail-mail a physical application to

You left out those other duties like throwing scraps to the child slave labor in the basement and recording their fights to post on the internet, or massaging The Jacket with a combination of virgin blood and fat from clubbed baby seals to keep its sheen, or drinking the bong water.
What's it pay?
Free miles on the Somali road network.
More like intern at reason this fail. Ha! Burn.
I noticed that alt-text was not explicitly listed with the tasks...
