Passenger Kills NYC Cab Driver with Umbrella
Was his name Oswald Cobblepot?
A savage passenger stabbed a cabbie through the eye with an umbrella in Brooklyn Thursday night, piercing the man's brain and killing him, police sources and witnesses said.
The victim was in a gold Mercury Grand Marquis on Thomas S. Boyland St. in Brownsville at 5:05 p.m. when a man and woman left the cab and began arguing with him, surveillance video viewed by the Daily News shows.
One passenger then shoved the umbrella through the cabbie's right eye, sources said.
