Lawyer: Info About FBI Raid of CA State Senator is a "Leak" by the Department of Justice
However, Senate Sergeant-at-Arms is sourced for ID'ing the Senator whose office was being raided
Federal investigators are searching the capitol office of State Sen. Ron Calderon (D-Montebello).
Laura Eimiller, the spokeswoman for the FBI office in Los Angeles, said the warrants were served about 3 p.m. Tuesday and that agents were still inside the Capitol in the evening.
She would not disclose the target of the search warrants, but Senate Chief Sergeant-at-Arms Tony Beard told The Associated Press it was Calderon.
