Bachmann Rival Drops Out of Race After She Announces Exit
No rematch of last election
Democrat Jim Graves was eager for a rematch against GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann in Minnesota, but now it looks like he won't be running for Congress after all.
Graves campaign manager Aaron Wells told the Associated Press that the Democrat will make a statement later Friday.
The news that Graves was suspending his campaign indefinitely was first reported by MinnPost. Graves told the news website that he believes it's "Mission Accomplished" now that the Tea Party favorite has said she will not seek re-election in 2014.
