A Prince William County, Virginia, man says a police officer showed up at his door asking him to prove that his mixed-race children belonged to him. The officer said he been sent there by Walmart security. Joseph and his wife Keana, whose last names weren't revealed by local media, said they called Walmart and a security officer said a customer had reported a white man walking around with three young black girls.

In a sane world*, the correct response to such an incident would be, "Officer, am I accused of a crime? If not, please kindly leave my property and return witg a warrant if you deem it necessary."

Unfortunately, in the world in which we live, people are so scared that the cops might go on a "respect my authority" rampage that they treat shit like this as a reasonable request.

true story here: I had a cousin who was adopted. He was "half-black" / Mulatto or whatever PC term you want to use.

I have a friend who is whiter than white. He is so white he makes Adam Savage look deeply tanned. He is married to a woman so black she makes Oprah look like a honky. Their color contrast is so great it's impossible to take a good photo of them together.

Think about this for a minute ? how (not to mention why) in the heck would/could one person kidnap three children simultaneously and then take them shopping at a Walmart? I have a hard enough time managing two little boys who are mine ? I can't see how one stranger could control three kids who didn't want to be taken somewhere without the use of drugs or restraints.

Whoever it was who called the police on this doesn't have the sense to come in out of the rain.
