USC Students Claim Racial Bias over Party Bust
Black student party gets shut down. White student party allegedly just told to keep the noise down.
Los Angeles Police are maintaining today that the party that brought out some 80 police over the weekend was a party out of control.
Lt. Andy Neiman tells me, yes, there have been claims of excessive force and racial bias and those are being investigated. But the party did not break up when officers asked for it to be.
Subsequently, six people were arrested, four were arrested for failure to disperse, one for felony interference, one for misdemeanor interference. The party host, Nate Howard, got a citation for disturbing the peace. All were released on their own recognizance.
