Should You Trade Liberty for (Promises of) Security? Find Out When J.D. Tuccille Appears on Jerry Doyle's Radio Show at 4:30 PT

In these post-Boston bombing times, can you ever really have too much security? Doesn't the ever-loving embrace of Michael Bloomberg make you feel all warm and protected? Or are you one of those curmudgeons who insists on being left alone just because official promises to keep you safe always seem to involve you grabbing your ankles a little more often than you think you should? At 4:30 pm Pacific Time, today, I'll discuss this and other concerns with radio's own Jerry Doyle (that's him at right). Find a station near you here.

I'm going to guess that the answer will be no.
An easy point for Libertarians, who are used to the fact that governments ALWAYS break promises.
Given the track record of government promises, I wonder why anyone believes them. (And people do, because they keep voting for those who make the most unsustainable promises.)
How about conspiracy theories spun by government and dutifully promulgated by its stenographers at the NYT, the Boston Globe, ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX et al?
my best friend's step-mother makes $84/hr on the laptop. She has been without work for 9 months but last month her income was $20795 just working on the laptop for a few hours. Read more on this site........ http://www.daz7.com
Speaking of untrustworthy promises...
Ah, meeester Garibaldeeeee!
Yes, the chief of security would know if you can trade liberty for security.
Course it helps if you can avoid being mind raped by Ensign Checkov
That's one crossover that I would like to see: B5 Checkov mind-rapes serial mind-rape victim Counselor Troi.
As the old saying goes: never attempt to apply a Star Trek solution to a Babylon 5 problem.
I will personally send JD $20 if he conducts the entire interview in Londo's voice. Who's with me?
Garibaldi wasn't even on today. He had a guest host.
Not Zack Allen again!
No.
Typical libertarian in total denial of what is needed in this day and age and trying to apply fuzzy 18th century thinking to modern society.

I'll believe the "official promises to keep you safe" when the government lets itself be sued for failing to do so.
