Pervez Musharraf Receives Lifetime Ban from Pakistani Elections
Can't run, can't run ever
The Peshawar High Court has dismissed former president, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf's appeal against the disqualification of his nomination papers from NA-32 Chitral and placed a lifetime ban on him for contesting elections.
A four member bench headed by Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan heard Musharraf's petition against the decision of the election tribunal declaring the returning officer's acceptance of his nomination papers as void.
