HBO's Programming President says piracy does not affect DVD sales

Well, the good news for HBO was that Sunday's Season 3 premiere of "Game of Thrones" hit a new series high for viewership with 4.4 million viewers tuning in.

That means they counted me twice.
That's one site/tracker out of many many trackers. I'm willing to bet the true number of people pirating the show in one version or another is an order of magnitude over the number of HBO subscribers.
