Sen. Menendez Approval Rating Increasing

Claims that the New Jersey senator slept with prostitutes in the Dominican Republic looking increasingly shaky

Sen. Robert Menendez's approval rating has rebounded as increasing doubt has been cast on claims that he visited prostitutes in the Dominican Republican, according to a new poll Wednesday.

Menendez (D-N.J.) now has a 40 percent job approval rating and a 37 percent disapproval — a net 8-point turnaround from his 36 percent approval, 41 disapproval rating in February, the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute survey found.
