White House: Implementing Obamacare Will Be 'Messy'
Immigrants, gay couples among issues to be resolved
The White House now admits the full implementation of Obamacare will be "messy," especially when it comes to deciding what care to provide to illegal immigrants.
Federal officials are pushing for immigration reform that includes health care coverage of illegals. The Washington Examiner reports that Mayra Alvarez with the Department of Health and Human Services just told a Center for American Progress crowd: "Let's keep our eyes on the prize of comprehensive immigration reform. I just want to emphasize that the undocumented are part of our communities. … And I think first and foremost the administration is committed to passing comprehensive immigration reform."
