Iran sent a fighter close to the drone which U.S. officials claims was over international waters
TEHRAN, March 15 (UPI) -- An Iranian fighter jet came near a U.S. Predator drone flying over the Persian gulf, but turned away after a warning by U.S. Air Force jets, officials said.
The Pentagon issued a statement saying the Iranian jet came within 16 miles of the drone Tuesday as it conducted classified surveillance over international waters.
