Police Free Russian School Children Being Held Hostage

Captor only demanded food and drink

Russian police have stormed a school classroom and freed two students and a security guard who were being held hostage in the southern city of Astrakhan.

Their captor, who freed a teacher earlier, had threatened to detonate what turned out to be a fake bomb and had a toy gun. His only demands were for food and drink.
