LAKESIDE — Members of the Navajo County MCAT (Major Crimes Apprehension Team) executed a warrant on Mountain Meds, a medical marijuana compassion club, located at at 100A W. White Mountain Blvd. on March 14 to determine if anything illegal was going on.
Around 1 p.m. investigators went to the owners home in Vernon.

So a judge grants a warrant just because the cops want to see if anybody's doing anything illegal? Isn't that pretty much the definition of a fishing expedition?
'Judge, somebody in there might be violating a copyright! Or installing a water heater without a permit! I need a warrant, stat!'
