Cardinals Set to Begin Conclave
There is still no obvious frontrunner
Catholic cardinals gathered Tuesday to elect a new pope amid uncertainty over a possible front-runner and turmoil within the church.
The cardinals are celebrating a final Mass before they sequester themselves in the Sistine Chapel for the conclave Cardinal Angelo Sodano, dean of the College of Cardinals, was leading Tuesday's Mass in St. Peter's Basilica even though he is too old to vote.
