In many cities today, it is illegal to give food to the homeless. Not only are these bans unjust and unconstitutional, writes Baylen Linnekin, they are now coming under legal attack. Already one federal judge has placed an injunction preventing Philadelphia from enforcing its ban on feeding the homeless while officials in Seattle recently relented in their misguided campaign against the Bread of Life Mission, which has been feeding people in the city's Pioneer Square for more than 70 years. It's time for these bans to stop.
