Baylen Linnekin on Food Freedom vs. Regulatory Busybodies
While high-profile events like New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg's assault on large-sized sodas grab most of the headlines, there are many positive developments in the area of food law and policy taking place right in our backyards. As Baylen Linnekin reports, from cottage food laws, which permit people to sell certain foods prepared in the home, to the increase in farm freedom legislation, the regulatory busybodies are increasingly on the retreat. There's still work to be done, Linnekin explains, but the future of food freedom is looking brighter.
