Palestinian Reportedly Killed by Israeli Army in Gaza
Officials claim troops fired on unarmed protesters
A 22-year-old Palestinian man has been killed after being hit by Israeli army fire near the border in northern Gaza, media reports citing Palestinian officials said Friday.
Another Palestinian man was injured in the incident, which took place near Jabaliya refugee camp. Local reports said the injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment.
Palestinian officials claimed that Israeli troops had opened fire on a group of unarmed Palestinians who were staging a protest near the border fence between Gaza and Israel.
