Hillary To Finally Testify About Benghazi

Well enough to take the stand

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will testify in front of congress about the terrorist attack on the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya—despite receiving a concussion and being hospitalised for a blood clot, it was revealed yesterday.

"She's sounding terrific, upbeat, raring to go," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said yesterday.

Ms Nuland said Mrs Clinton plans to keep her earlier pledge to testify to House and Senate committees about the fatal attack in which US ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed.

"She is committed to testifying, and we are working with the committees on an appropriate set of dates," Ms Nuland said. Those appearances are not likely before the week of January 14, two officials said.
