Obama Meets With Governors to Talk Fiscal Cliff
Three Republicans, three Democrats, but what've they got to do with anything?
President Obama sought Tuesday to build support among governors for his federal debt plan, as he and congressional Republicans continued to argue over higher taxes for the wealthy.
Meeting at the White House with six governors -- three from each party -- Obama sought to sell a "fiscal cliff" plan that includes higher taxes through elimination of George W. Bush-era tax cuts for Americans making more than $250,000 a year.
