Jesse Walker on the Tea Party Movement and the Election
Few groups have been battered so relentlessly over the course of this presidential campaign as the Tea Party movement. It might have been easy to miss this sustained beating, given how hard the Democrats strained to present the Romney/Ryan ticket as a Godzilla in a tricorne hat. But if you look back at the last year, Jesse Walker writes, you'll see one Tea Party defeat after another. The only wing of the movement that's coming out of this week with many reasons to be happy is the one that never did fall in en masse behind Romney.
