Netanyahu Congratulates Obama on Victory
US-Israeli alliance stronger than ever, the prime minister says
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu congratulated US President Barack Obama for winning the US election Wednesday.
According to Netanyahu's bureau, he said: "The strategic alliance between Israel and US is stronger than ever. I will continue to work with President Obama to secure the essential interests of the people of Israel." Netanyahu is expected to meet Wednesday with Dan Shapiro, US ambassador to Israel
