Bo Xilai Booted From Chinese Communist Party
His long fall from grace is complete
Bye, Bo. Chinese politician Bo Xilai, embroiled in a scandal earlier this year involving murder accusations against his wife, has been tossed out of the country's ruling Communist Party, a move that lays the once untouchable politician open to criminal prosecution. China's ruling class is in the midst of a delicate, once-a-decade transition of power that has been haunted by the suspicions surrounding the disgraced politician. Bo was expelled from China's Parliament last month, and state media said he was placed under criminal investigation.
