Hurricane Sandy Pre-Empts Google Android Event
The California-based company was going to announce several new products the same day Microsoft has an event on the west coast
Hurricane Sandy is raining on Google's Android parade, forcing the tech giant to reschedule an event it had planned for Monday at which it was expected to announce several new products.
"We are canceling our Monday morning event in New York due to Hurricane Sandy," Google told The Verge. "We will let you know our plans as soon as we know more."
