Israel Strikes Gaza Strip in Response to Rocket Attacks

Two Hamas gunmen reportedly killed

The Israel Air Force hit a terrorist rocket launching cell in the northern Gaza Strip Tuesday night following a barrage of rockets that exploded in open fields in the Eshkol region, and the injury of an IDF officer by a roadside bomb earlier in the day.

Hamas said two of its gunmen were killed and another wounded in an IAF air strike in northern Gaza Tuesday night. It did not comment on the IDF allegation that the men had prepared rocket launches.
