Obama Daughters' School Evacuated
Suspicious package found, but proved to be no danger
The Washington D.C. private school attended by President Obama's daughters, Sasha and Malia, was evacuated Thursday morning due to a suspicious package, police said.
Students at Sidwell Friends School have since returned to the Wisconsin Avenue campus after authorities determined that "no risk was present," the school said on its website.
The Wisconsin Avenue campus was evacuated around 11:20 Thursday morning after someone called in to report the package, Araz Alali, a spokesman for the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Police Department, told the Daily News.
