Looking for early outtakes on Drudge, ran into this headline: Brits require ID to buy hunting magazines...

Why do I get this sinking feeling to turn my back and save myself whenever I read about the British these past several years?

  You know, as bad as the Brits are when it comes to guns (and they're really fucking bad), they can still buy a suppressor OTC so long as they have the proper license. That's a shitload better than it is here.

      No, the word 'hunting' denotes enough differentiation in meaning for you to make the correct educated guess the first time through. Plus, I was repeating a headline word for word, not actually writing it in my own words, and that too was clear.

I really hope that there were some liberal plants among the townhall questioners. The alternative is that there are people out there undecided solely because they aren't convinced on either candidate's position on the all-important issues of college education tax credits, gender pay gaps, and assault weapons. Because of course those are the real problems that everyone should be concerned about.

The moderating tonight was totally unacceptable. If a majority of Americans were reasonably intelligent, there is no way we would put up with bullshit like this. I am voting for GJ, but if Obama's poll numbers do not get worse because of this non-sense, then I think we are truly lost as a country. Not saying that I wasn't already thinking that way, but this is really pathetic taken to a new low.

    Personally, I thought Obama did worse this time. His "aggressiveness" seemed wierd and shrill. Might make liberals happy, but I don't think it'll help much with independents.

Guy at think progress thinks Bin Laden being dead is the end all be all. Admittedly, the guy deserved death, but I think Benghazi is pretty darn good proof that the ideology that animated him is hardly gone (and never will be simply through military action, killing top guys, etc.).

  All of the candidates should be in the debate. So I agree with the greens on that.
  
  But it clearly shows who has the most mature way of dealing with things between the minor parties. Which is why Libertarians will rise and the greens will fade away. Unless we become Europe, and I don't see the demographics working out for that.
