Doctored Photos Help Fuel Rumors of Imminent iPad Mini Release
Probably won't be released next week
The pictures, which were published on Twitter, show what appears to be a smaller Apple iPad, with squarer edges and the same Lightning dock connector as the new iPhone 5.
However, as pointed out online by Mike Cane, the FCC identity code on the back of the 'mini iPad' matches that of the third generation iPad, indicating that the pictures do not show the real thing.
