Obama Denies He Debated "The Real Mitt Romney"
That's just pathetic
In his first public appearance after what was widely viewed as a lackluster debate performance against his Republican challenger, President Barack Obama was cheered on Thursday at a morning rally by thousands of pumped-up, excited supporters, telling them he was shocked to meet a "guy who was playing Mitt Romney" on stage.
"When I got onto the stage, I met this very spirited fellow who claimed to be Mitt Romney," he said.
"The real Mitt Romney has been running around the country for the last year, promising $5 trillion in tax cuts to favor the wealthy," he said. But on Wednesday, "he said, I don't know anything about that," Obama said. "The real Mitt Romney said we don't need anymore teachers in our classrooms….but last night, he can't get enough of them."

am i supposed to say first? i'm rather new at this, sorry.
anyway, perhaps the problem was obama was too much himself? maybe?
besides, when a pol isn't trying to be someone else, i get a little scared that something really bad is going to happen to a bus of school children somewhere. i read a study once. obama doesn't want bad things to happen to school children does he?
Obama would have rather debated the strawman Mitt Romney he's used to debating.
