Professor Investigated for Using Class Time to Stump for Obama
She was supposed to be teaching math
A Brevard Community College math instructor is being investigated by the college for allegedly using class time to urge students to vote for President Barack Obama and for distributing campaign material that says "I pledge to vote for President Obama and Democrats up and down the ticket."
Associate Professor Sharon Sweet, 58, requested and was granted an unpaid leave of absence Monday morning as senior college officials look into the matter. Sweet did not return phone messages or an email seeking comment Monday.

So, what's new? All of the compulsively political comments I see on FaceBook, for example, are mostly from Libs who just feel compelled to talk about their dogma. I was subject to this nonsense throughout my education, from junior high thru college, with very little of this type of thing from conservatives, libertarians or fiscal conservatives. Liberals, however, view political "sharing" as part of their moral obligation. They're just like Jehovah's Witnesses, they can't help themselves. It's worse than Tourette's syndrome!
