No End to Chicago Teachers Strike

The teachers strike will continue Monday as the union's House of Delegates refused to halt the walk out this afternoon and sent the work stoppage into its second week.
At a press conference after the vote, Chicago Teachers Union president Karen Lewis said that the delegates could vote to end the strike as early as Tuesday, meaning classes would not resume before Wednesday.
