Dominican Republic Won't Be Funding Miss Universe Pageant

The Dominican Republic's government said Wednesday that it cannot provide any kind of financial assistance to organizers of the Miss Universe contest scheduled to be held in the Caribbean country.
Jose Ramon Peralta, presidential administrative minister, said the government does not have the $6 million requested by the organizers.

The Mrs Mrs. Multiverse will be held in Dominican Republic, so there will be a beauty pageant in the lovely island.
This pageant highlights the Mirabal Sisters as example of power women. I hope the Dominican Goverment supports this organization.
