Brickbat: Real Tough Guy

John Rosi, a middle school teacher in Washington's Peninsula School District, has been put on paid leave after cellphone video emerged of him and some of the students in one of his classes allegedly bullying one student, wrestling him, and tossing him around. The school system had originally suspended Rosi for 10 days and transferred him to another school. But after numerous parents said they would not allow their children to be in his classroom officials suspended him from teaching entirely. They say they have no plans to fire him, however.

I was browsing over at Human Events at 7 AM, they didn't have the Ambassador killing up at that time. You should let them know how you feel about that.

So, basically, they're saying to teachers..."Do something so indefensible that we can't let you back in a classroom and get a lifetime of pay for no work!" THAT'S bound to work out well.

Something similar happend in central ohio a few years back where a couple lacrosse coaches held a student player down on a school bus and inserted their gloved fingers rectally. Claimed it was just hazing. They got fired as did the head coach. The head coach was just in the news for attending some lacross practices in another district. Wasn't really sure how involved he was in the practices but has since been banned from attending.
