Wrong Place, Wrong Time
A Florida judge has found John Nix not guilty of resisting a police officer. Nix was working in Jacksonville when he saw what appeared to be several people "beating up" a man. He pulled out his cell phone to call 911 and went over to ask what was going on. One of the men showed him a badge and said they were plainclothes police officers and were arresting a suspected shoplifter. The man then grabbed Nix and handcuffed him. Nix says the officer accused him of using his phone to try to take pictures of the arrest.
