It's a new comedy series so edgy and controversial that a Salt Lake City television station refuses to air it! Actually, as Scott Shackford discovered after watching the pilot, The New Normal is neither particularly edgy nor controversial. Instead it relies on well-worn stock stereotypes and Glee creator Ryan Murphy's affectation for bitter, loudmouthed women to round out a plot that lacks important connective tissue.
