I couldn't agree more about Cuba. I have a good number of friends who've been there, and the weird hosannas sung by some media types and (more famously) Hollywood liberals are just totally out of touch with reality. The place is a shithole for the people who live there. And that took some doing, as Cuba has a lot of nice geographic features and once had a lot of business (Bacardi, for instance, was a Cuban company).
I've said this before, but in 1960, Cuba had the same GDP per capita as Japan.
And it will again. It'll be a huge tourist stop for Americans once the regime finally falls.
So is Moynihan back or is he just doing odd jobs between career moves?
I do hope he is back.
