NBC Leads Ratings Final Night of Convention in Primetime
A swell in the 18-49 demo for the president's speech
NBC had a mixed bag on Thursday night. The network's coverage of the Democratic National Convention reached new highs according to fast affiliate numbers, averaging a 2.1 rating among adults 18-49 at the 10 p.m. hour. But the two-hour America's Got Talent, displaced by Wednesday's NFL game, marked a series low for the competition. It averaged a 1.9 adults rating. Altogether, the network brought in a 2.0 adults rating for the night and 7.2 million viewers.
