Fifth Police Shooting in Valejo, Calif. This Year; 30 Rounds Fired at Man With Pellet Gun
Second victim this year to be carrying the "replica handgun," though his sister denies he had one on him
As Vallejo police investigate the city's fifth fatal officer-involved shooting this year, and the second involving a suspect with a pellet gun, family and friends of the victim are demanding their own answers.
The latest fatal shooting happened early Sunday after two officers fired more than 30 rounds and shot and killed a man who allegedly turned toward them with a weapon that turned out to be a pellet gun, police said.
