Vodka neat? I think that I'd have to be watching PJTV to have that.
Single Malt Scotch, thanks. And a monocle.
Bacon bourbon!

Bacon!
There's also this.
Homebrewed imperial porter is the only thing strong enough for this nonsense.
Thanks for the invite. I respectfully decline due to not wanting to have anything to do with this carnival of idiots.
I can assure you that will not be happening.
I was wondering when reason would finally start to cover the Republican convention.
Someone must think Reason commenters are masochists.
I'd rather get my blood sucked out by leeches
Shove an icepick under a toenail or two
I'd rather clean
All the bathrooms in Grand Central Station
With my tongue
Than spend one more minute with you

Excellent choice. For a Canadian Idiot.
There's supposed to be a tribute to Ron Paul followed by Rand in the first hour tonight, so part of it might be interesting.
Vivian Brown on the Weather Channel is kind of a dingbat. I've been listening to her inanity for 2 days now.

She pronounces New Orleans, "New Or-lee-anns".
Why?
Vending machine dilemma:
I went to the vending machine for something chocolately or peanuty, but when I got there I found a dangling pack of Twizzlers. I only brought enough cash for one item. Do I go with the two-for-one Twizzlers special even though I'm not in the mood, or do I go for my first choice Snickers or peanut MyMs?
Snickers. Two bags of Twizzlers is alot of boring.
Seriously, why people like mildly-faux-cherry-flavored wax is beyond me.
I'd go for the peanut M-ampersand-Ms myself.
Here is the Ampersand Page I use so I can properly write "M?Ms"
I get the same error I got the first time I tried Unicode.
"Your comment does not appear to be written in an English script. Please comment in English."
Didn't help.
I did go for the peanut MyMs. Although I do like Twizzlers, but only as edible drinking straws.
I wouldn't even call them edible.
LIVE BLOG!
Love the link to one of my favorite mags, Garden Gun.
I don't subscribe, I read it at my doctor's office.
It's kind of like Field and Stream, only for people who can jet away for a weekend dove hunt in Argentina with handmade English and Spanish shotguns with five and six figure pricetags instead of just wishing they could like I do.

Garden Gun
I give up on ampersdands.
Field and Stream is for people who dream of shooting cheap semiautos and leaving hulls and fast food wrappers everywhere.
Shooting Sportsman is for people who have Spanish guns and dream of English ones.
Garden and Gun is, well, it's Garden and Gun. Mint Juleps and planted Bobs. Not a bad way to spend a Sunday.
Which reminds me, I lost my favorite monocle at Rio Piedra. If you find it, post here.
I like this. 🙂
I must confess, while my tastes are aristocratic my budget is terribly plebeian.
The first time I went to shoot Five stand clays, I took my Mossberg 500 (the only other shotgun I owned at the time was a bolt action Mossberg which I generally used with buckshot for deer in the scrub).
My very first round left me with a score of (out of 25) which I was not really ashamed of.
Then this old guy took me aside and sid "try this" and handed me his Beretta Silver Pigeon. Now I know that a Beretta Silver Pigeon is only a 2G+/- gun but I was tempted to say "Man, I lend out my girlfriend before I'd lend someone a gun like this."
Pretty. pretty gun. So pretty I think I'd sleep with it.
And yes, I shot an an 18 and a 20 with that gun. My first time out.
My very first round left me with a score of 13 (out of 25)
