Rahm Emanuel to Speak at Democratic Convention

The mayor of Chicago was formerly President Obama's chief of staff.

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel will address the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C., next month, organizers said today.

The convention runs Sept. 4-6. Democratic Party officials did not announce a date or time, and an Emanuel aide said those details had not yet been set.
