Los Angeles to Push for Olympics Again?
On the rosy assumption that California will still exist by the time it comes back.
It has been 28 years since Los Angeles hosted its last Olympic games -- and it will be 40 years by the time the games could possibly return. That's what Los Angeles City Councilman Tom LaBonge is hoping will happen.
LaBonge introduced a motion on Friday asking his colleagues to help support an effort to get another Olympic games in Los Angeles in the next decade or so.

Yeah,the Olympics, Thats just what they need to pull them out of the economic doldrums. Sometimes the answer hits you like a diamond bullet.
