Gary Alan Fine on Christopher Hayes' Twilight of the Elites
In his new book Twilight of the Elites, the liberal writer and MSNBC host Christopher Hayes raises demanding questions about a nation that is both enamored with and troubled by its elites. As a tour guide to domains where elites dwell, sociologist Gary Alan Fine writes, Hayes is knowledgeable and smooth, and we should be grateful for the questions he raises. But not, alas, for all of his answers.
