Internet Map Plots Websites Like Galaxies
Took more than a year to make
Ruslan Enikeev created an interactive map of 350,000 websites from 196 countries. He analyzed more than 2 million links between the sites, looked at their traffic sizes, and plotted them as galaxies in a universe.
It took him more than a year to create the infographic. The current version shows how the web looked at the end of 2011. Google Maps was used to display the sites.
