Deputy Disciplined for K-9's Death From Being Left in Cruiser
Will be suspended 45 days without pay.
A Mercer County sheriff's deputy suspended in the death of a K-9 unit that died after being left in a hot cruiser said he accepts responsibility for what happened.
Deputy Chad Fortkamp has been suspended for 45 days without pay after he left his Zak in his patrol car last week while he completed the reconstruction of a traffic crash at the office.
