Samsung-Apple Trial Getting Little Play in South Korea
Samsung is South Korea's largest company, and smart phones are its future
The multibillion-dollar patent trial between Apple Inc. and Samsung Electronics Co. is generating huge media interest in the U.S. In Samsung's home country of South Korea, it's a different story.
Only South Korean reporter from news agency Yonhap appears to have attended opening arguments on Tuesday in the San Jose courtroom. Other news coverage has been re-written from the Yonhap dispatch or from international news agencies.
