You’re early Ed.
Chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee Peter King is satisfied prostitutes hired in Colombia weren’t part of a criminal or terrorist organization.
This just in: Pete King doesn’t consider prostitution criminal. (Figures, with a name like that.)
it’s good to be king.
It’s good to be a Peter.
unless it belongs to Warty.
It does. Obviously.
“After a thorough and personal investigation, at great cost of time and effort (but not money beca, I have satisfied myself that these women are professionals of the highest caliber.”
top women, no doubt, thoroughly investigated by Top Men.
This just in: Pete King doesn’t consider prostitution criminal.
Look, you parochial buffoon, in Colombia it’s not criminal. I think any US representative is a de facto expert on prostitution, so don’t question his judgement.
This just in: Pete King leading a fact-finding junket to Colombia. Heavy on the junk.
If it’s illegal in the US, it’s universally illegal., I seem to recall a guy from the UK being extradited to the US for doing something that in the UK, was perfectly legal, but illegal in the US.
Here’s the guy that made chip bags difficult to open.
I would also post a link to an article on Kotaku about microagression, but my work blocks the site because it talks about video games.
Anyway, head over there and I’m sure you’ll find it easily. It talks about chopsticks.
This is the article: http://kotaku.com/5907242/you-…..ome-people
Thanks! Yeah, I about ruined my MBP this morning reading it, but I chewed back the vomit.
“Microaggressions have such power because they are invisible”
And those nanoagressions are even more powerful!
are those the higgs-bosons of paternal aggressions?

It’s like some kind of evil homeopathy.
Really, you’re doing someone a favor if you just punch them in the neck instead.
It is certain because it is impossible.
It is certain because it is impossible.
“I have to shoot you now, Tertullian, because you’re a moron.”
I can’t believe Psychology Today would have published an article on the soft bigotry of low expectations vis a vis Asians without pointing out that it’s not just wrong, it’s positively linsane.
History’s Greatest Monster…behind Jimmy Carter.
Really? Ever hear of scissors? By far the Greatest Monster in History is the inventor of autotune. That shit is everywhere and can’t be unheard.
Can’t. Be. Unheard.
Ok. Fine. Third place. Carter is still at the top, as the The Simpsons thus spoke.
Actually, autotune was invented by a geologist who was trying to clean up his seismographic charts. History’s greatest monster is the person who figured out it could fix up badly out of tune singing.
One and the same, according to the wiki
I didn’t realize that chip bags were difficult to open.
You carry a pocket knife, or eat low carb?
Seriously. Except for those damned Kettle Brand chips.
Oh yeah. Those one’s do suck.
Here’s the guy that made chip bags difficult to open.
Known to me as the guy that causes so many people to borrow my pocket knife. Shocking how many people are defeated by simple liner locks and lock backs, BTW.
So is the Obama administration going to actually help a pro-life activist? That’s gotta hurt with the base.
Some, like for all practical purposes all, pro-legal-abortion folks are against forced abortions.
That’s one of the reasons they call themselves pro-choice.
sorry doesnt fit the RW memes.
all babies must die!
Robert Wagner?
Hah, much as I like agreement it’s kind of typical that the resident master of sweeping stereoptypical generalizations about the right should respond to my response to the resident master of sweeping stereoptypical generalizations about the left.
“Some, like for all practical purposes all, pro-legal-abortion folks are against forced abortions.”
Are we restricting ourselves to America? Because the people who support forced abortion in China clearly exist, and as a rule things that are mandatory are legal.
Fair enough, I meant the USA, and should have been clearer. I have in fact met some English socialists who I think would have no problems with forced abortions. They do not, however consider themselves pro-choice. They are, in fact explicitly and boastfully anti-choice in anything. Such people are outside the mainstream of even the extreme left of the Labour Party today.
straw man alert, unless there are nefarious forces in our midst who favor forced abortions. Pro-choice carries little sway in China.
Huh?
By “huh?”, I mean, it was SIV’s comment that implied that there were people in the Obama administration who are in favor of forced abortions.
“That’s gotta hurt with the base” is a pretty strong suggestion that SIV believs that the base of the Democratic Party in the USA is in favor of forced abortions. As much as I dislike the base of the Democratic Party in the USA I don’t think this is the case.
Now, if your response was to SIV, then OK. But that’s not how it lined up.
the way the base behaves, it often caricatures itself as favoring abortions of any kind. Of course, it cannot openly advocate the forced variety, though if you follow the roots of choice to their core, you find one Margaret Sanger, who most definitely favored the forced abortions of certain folks. This probably would have lined up better in the manner you describe as opposed to how it did..
Since it was he who implied that “the base” of the Democratic Party is in favor of forced abortions and hence unsympathetic to Chen Guancheng*, something for which, as near as I can tell, there is scant evidence, it is SIV who erected the strawman here, not me.
I merely called him out on it.
And, FFS, just because Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist does not mean that everybody who favors legal birth control and/or abortion is one. How fucking simpleminded are you?
*who’s opinion, BTW, on voluntary abortion does not seem to have been brought up anywhere. Hence SIV’s characterization of him as a pro-life (assuming the default American definition) activist also assumes facts not in evidence.
And, FFS, just because Margaret Sanger was a eugenicist does not mean that everybody who favors legal birth control and/or abortion is one. How fucking simpleminded are you?
What do legal birth control and abortion have to do with each other? One is murderous and the other isn’t.
Sure, every sperm is sacred, right?
Did I say that?
sperm =/= a human life. I
Neither is a zygote. Get back to me after the first trimester of a pregnancy.
But yeah, I just wanted to snark.
My original point is just because M Sanger had certain motives for favoring something is no reason to accuse everyone of having those same motives. Even if you disagree with their position.
I would have to say that my wife, Banjos, is with child right now. If it’s implanted and will develop to a fully formed human being, it should have all the rights of a person.
And I am sure that no one in this forum is in favor of interfering with that occuring.
But I also would not interfere in you (plural) making a different choice, either. Even if I thought it was the wrong choice.
But I also would not interfere in you (plural) making a different choice, either. Even if I thought it was the wrong choice.
Even if that choice results in the death, injury or damage to property of an innocent person? Would you also not interfere if someone was tying a person to a set of railroad tracks? Or if someone was stealing someone else’s car? Or setting fire to their house?
I think that to believe a tiny formless collection of cells with absolutely no capacity to survive outside of the live support system furnished by another human being is rank sentimentality. This naturally excludes any such collection of cells to which one has an immediate emotional attatchment.
A woman has the same right to eject a zygote from her womb as a property owner has to eject a trespasser from his premises. The subsequent survival of the trespasser is not a matter of concern to the property owner unless he choses it to be.
By your idiotic rationale, a parent has the right to eject a crying infant from his/her property and place him in the road or woods to fend for himself.
Sorry, but that’s fucking insanity.
But regardlees of our respective positions on the right of a woman to chose an abortion, can we at least agree that forcing a woman to have an abortion is wrong. Because that that is what is at issue in the case of Chen Guancheng.
I have not seen anything which says what he thinks about abortion per se, but I do know that he’s opposed to forcing women to have them.
So you can go on with the irrelevant “abortion’s bad…mmmkay” schtick but you’ll do so without my participation.
Byeee.
But regardlees of our respective positions on the right of a woman to chose an abortion, can we at least agree that forcing a woman to have an abortion is wrong.
Absolutely.
I’d like to get our prospective Ukranian physician’s take on the Tymoshenko situation and why it still seems to be a good place to move to. It seems to me to be a clear case of political repression and doesn’t bode well for Ukraine’s future.
cool story, bro
Huh?
ExACtly.
So…you disagree that Tymoshenko’s treatment by the Ukrainian government rises to the level of political repression/revenge?
“The trial and sentencing of Tymoshenko to seven years in jail for alleged abuse of power has already cost Ukraine a landmark political agreement with the European Union.”
Are the other Europeans upset because she’s innocent – or because they hate the idea of politicians being prosecuted for abusing their power?
Are the other Europeans upset because she’s innocent – or because they hate the idea of politicians being prosecuted for abusing their power?
Don’t let the braids fool you: she was pretty calculating as PM. Very much a nationalist, and with that naturally can come corrupting influence and a reliance on cronyism.
EU regards UKR as something of a novel, “white trash” nation, and doesn’t particularly like their emphasis on individual freedom and adoption of free market ideals.
It’s typical Euro snobbery.
emphasis on individual freedom and adoption of free market ideals.
(in British accent with high snoot factor): really..imagine if that sort of thing spread. Why, the rabble would want to make its own decisions, maybe even start businesses, and what a mess that would be.
No. I think this is an exceedingly narrow and obscure topic.
Cool. Story. Bro.
It’s obvious – the thieves now in office are oppressing the previous thieves.
But and important rule in international politics is that you can’t mess up attractive people (see Burma). Now I’m assuming Tymoshenko is as sychopathic and corrupt as any other politician – but she’s pretty good looking for her age, so you can’t be slapping her around like she’s some arab dictator or california legislator.
Sure, politicians are trash just about anywhere, but this seems to be a case of a country near a tipping point. If Tymoshenko’s treatment goes unnoticed and unpunished, what would that say about the general level of political freedom in Ukraine going forward?
That it’s essentially non-existant? Yanukovich is besties with Putin.
That it’s essentially non-existant? Yanukovich is besties with Putin.
Not besties, but more a symbiotic relationship. Word is they respect each other, but can’t really stand each other. UKR has Putin over a bit of a barrel, and Putin knows it.
The thing Putin does like, however, is Our Pestilence is largely indifferent to Eastern Europe, and he is regarded with deep skepticism and outright dislike overall by the denizens of Donetsk that I met, both Russk and UKR’s. Extreme dislike actually, since his moves here remind them of past communist tactics and rule.
Oni znayitya. Now if they could only be so sharp about their own politicians.
It’s a bit of a red herring, TBH, db. Tymoshenko’s prime ministry was a big boon to UKR identity, but to say that her hands were clean during her tenure would, at best, “require the willing suspension of disbelief”. Her equivalent here would be along the lines of HRC.
what would that say about the general level of political freedom in Ukraine going forward?
To answer your question, the future is pretty bright. UKR fought hard for their independence and they pretty deadly serious about keeping it. Keep in mind they haven’t been independent very long, and the position now would be congruent with the US in the 1800’s, politically speaking. They are scared stiff that Russia will try to reabsorb them and over half of the UKR’s and Russks that live there are not jazzed with joining the EU. Since, by proxy of geography and history, they can’t easily pull a Sweden and remain neutral, attempting to join the EU is moreso out of political expediency than any thing else.
The problem is with the EU countries proper and typical Euro snobbery, since UKR does not want to revert back to full commie socialist status.
They likes them some capitalism, as crony as it is ATM. I felt safer on the streets of Donetsk than I do in OKC. This stuff is typical political bluster and, IME, overblown.
Thanks for your assessment. Of course, one might expect news coverage of Ukraine to be somewhat less detailed than the observations of a man in the process of a decision to uproot and move there. That’s why I wanted your opinion.
Thank you. It’s anecdotal, but I spent most of my time in non-touristy areas, and got a real flavor for goings on there. I wouldn’t go if I felt I would be blown up two weeks after arrival.
I have a better chance being shot by some meth head hooligan in OKC, which isn’t that high either.
I just want to know where she got the Sheila Jackson Lee white girl crown weave.

These are awesome. My great-aunt had the orginal of this painting hanging in her house from at least the early 60’s until 2005 or so. Bad art of bad art, meta!
Very funny page, thanks!
I live about a mile from there. I went once because I was waiting for a movie to start and my friend wanted to check it out. As I suspected, it was a stupid idea (both checking it out and it existing in the first place).

Did Rielle Hunter almost have a drug-fuelled threesome with Molly Ringwald and Bret Easton Ellis?
Probably not. I imagine Ringwald was referring to Jay McInterny, who dated the then Lisa Jo Druck and wrote a thinly-veiled novel about her, 1988’s Story of My Life.
So, the female character was a “composite”.
You know who else wrote about “composite” characters….

A threesome with no dude? That’s reason enough for Ellis to back out.
Secret Service problems much bigger than prostitutes
I like how they keep a woman on the Presidential detail even though she is so out of shape she can’t even open the limo doors.
Would it be ironic if indulging in PC affirmative action bullshit ended up costing the President his life?

The government may not be able to run the Secret Service, but they’ll get healthcare just right. It will be totally awesome.

Free fall: How government policies brought down the housing market
…However, in its 10-K annual report to the Securities and Exchange Commission for 2009, Bank of America made one of the few bank references to CRA loan quality: “At December 31, 2009, our CRA portfolio comprised six percent of the total residential mortgage balances, but comprised 17 percent of nonperforming residential mortgage loans. This portfolio also comprised 20 percent of residential net charge-offs during 2009.”…
No no no no no no no! It was teh Evul 1%ers and George Bush and Haliburton and Cheney and Rupert Murdoch and Jesus Christ who brought down the housing market!

still clinging to ur guns, bibles, & RW memes eh?
Stop confusing orrin with facts.
What were the misrepresentations? The prospectuses for mortgage backed securities disclosed exactly what kind of crap was being sold into the pools. That’s whay the 3 or 4 people on earth who bothered to read them shorted the shit out of those bonds and are now billionaires.
Someone is suing. Therefore there must have been malfeasance. Nobody ever sues without cause.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney) — Bank of America shares plunged 20% Monday, fueled in part by a steep selloff in the broader market and news that insurer American International Group is suing it for billions of dollars over alleged mortgage securities fraud.
AIG is suing Bank of America’s for alleged fraudulent activity that it claims “caused billions of dollars in damage” to its business.
AIG’s lawsuit is specifically tied to hundreds of mortgage-backed securities that the insurer claims Bank of America — and its Merrill Lynch and Countrywide Financial units — knew were not top quality, according to published reports.
The insurer is seeking to recover more than $10 billion in losses from Bank of America on $28 billion of investments, in what could be the largest mortgage-security-related action filed by a single investor, the reports said.

Senior climate scientist queries temperature data ‘adjustments’
Spencer, a specialist in satellite temperature records, has checked official land based weather station records in the USA and discovered most of the claimed global warming of the past 40 years appears to be a result of data adjustments after the fact, not raw temperature records.
HAH hah.
Fucking DENIERS. The science is settled!!!!!
it ignores 6 iceages & 6 melts
Which proves what, exactly, regarding the temperature records of the past 40 years being manipulated?
Yes, climate fluctuates. No one denies that. Thank you for proving my point.
climate change is a constant. the ONLY question is where are we on the trendline
Actually, that question only matters for adapting ourselves. Environmentalists are about as comfortable talking about adaptation as conservatives are with distributing condoms.
That’s right.
6 iceages and 6 melts that occurred before the industrial revolution and therefore have jack shit to do with anthropogenic climate change.
No one with half a brain denies that the climate changes. It does so all the time. Also, no one with a basic high school level understanding of chemistry denies that burning hydrocarbons produces CO2.
What some people disagree about is what the forcing funtion for climate change should be. Planetary climates are extremely complex systems with many inputs and outputs, and multiple unkowns. There’s multiple algorithms that can be used to accurately model the behavior, not all of which assume that industrial CO2 is the primary driver, and all of which are useless for making predictions due to the number of unkowns.
But let’s not let pesky facts get in the way of Mary spouting non-sensical BS about “RW memes” and “6 iceages and 6 melts” that prove jack fucking shit.
I hate to point this out, but I think orrin/oren/urine/mary was agreeing with this sentiment.
But we have data! Massaged data! Anthony Watts has been all over this for years. (Good on Roy Spencer, though. Nice to see someone who would like to know the actual truth.)
Spencer is essentially the last AGW denier among real, actual climatologists. Unfortunately for him and for us, the satellite data are so convincing that’s he stuck trying to attack the land data along long-discredited lines. If you follow through and read his blog posts, you’ll notice that he presents his own “adjustments” to the land data and works off them. Not surprisingly, no other climatologist uses his adjustments, and they’ve been attacked pretty handily.
Also, as a side note, it is global warming, and the Lower 48 comprise about 1.5% of the Earth’s surface. The Lower 48 could be colder but if the other 98.5% are warmer, the Earth is warming. Even if Spencer is right about the US temperature data, he has a long way to go to show that the entire Earth isn’t warming (which it is).
none of which answers the ‘so what’ question. Let’s say the earth is, in fact, warming. Nothing conclusively points that as being a result of man’s activity. It becomes nothing more than a fact of nature. And, there is less than nothing that man can do about it.
Climates don’t change for fun. They have no will. They change when their inputs change. In this case, the input happens to be GHG concentration in the atmosphere. The sun is actually slightly cooler than it was mid-20th century. Earth’s orbit isn’t wobbling.
GHG warming leaves a different pattern of warming than, say, the sun growing stronger. Our data show the GHG pattern is being followed.
Unfortunately for him and for us,
Comfy being part of an eco-theological cult.
Dr. Spencer is a bona fide climate scientist and hardly a crackpot.
he has a long way to go to show that the entire Earth isn’t warming (which it is).
Which he hasn’t denied. He challenges the veracity of the data and the AGW premise. Which a good scientist should. From my reading of him, he is showing proper adherence to scientific methods and hasn’t expressed opinion one way or the other WRT to causation.
Comfy being part of an eco-theological cult.
That cult being mainstream science, accepted by ~98% of all climate experts and essentially every science-minded organization on Earth? Some cult. Hey, maybe when you’re done with that cult called The Germ Theory of Disease, you’ll join Chiropractic and work on the subluxations of the spine. LOL
He challenges the veracity of the data and the AGW premise.
He’s trying to argue that there’s no AGW because there’s no GW. His argument is that the raw data from US land-based sensors are improperly adjusted for. He then presents his own adjustments.
All of that is fine, except his adjustments have already been thoroughly discredited. He’s still arguing that tuberculosis is caused by spinal misalignment.
Of course, since he’s a creationist, his commitment to the scientific method is…shall we say…suspect.
That cult being mainstream science, accepted by ~98% of all climate experts and essentially every science-minded organization on Earth? Some cult.
THE SCIENCE IS SETTLED! Feh.
Consensus =/= Veracity.
Hey, maybe when you’re done with that cult called The Germ Theory of Disease, you’ll join Chiropractic and work on the subluxations of the spine. LOL
The DO in my handle isn’t for nothing, JP. Osteopathic manipulation is an accepted alternative method for relieving chronic and acute PX concomitant with RX intervention. Also works well for people with legit allergies to opiods and partial opioid agonists.
Germ Theory is showing some holes WRT to prions and other subcelluar pathogens, so the approach to intervention is undergoing some revision, as science would demand. Or would you prefer still throwing penicillin at every malady down the pike?
He’s trying to argue that there’s no AGW because there’s no GW. His argument is that the raw data from US land-based sensors are improperly adjusted for. He then presents his own adjustments.
That’s not his argument. Never once has he denied warming trends. Ron Bailey posts them on Reason, for Jeebus’s sake! His argument is the root cause that is touted as “irrefutable fact” has some, ahem, holes. Quite a few. I don’t care about his personal beliefs. I wouldn’t care if he was a raving commie, as long as his methods are valid. Which they are. Sorry they contradict your theology, my dear Pontiff.
lulz!
That would…not be awesome.
Fuck yeah. Now all we need are street samurai and my sci-fi future will be here.
So you already have a smartlinked Ares Hermes IV?
No, it’s supposed to be Smartlinked Ares Predator II and a Dikoted Katana.
That said the minute they perfect the tech I’m getting a datajack and hittin up the BTL’s
Yeah, I realized too late that I mixed my firearms with my commlinks. For shame.
Eh. After that bit in The Diamond Age about having spammers take over the guy’s retinal nerve, I’ve decided that all digital interaction will remain mediated through my existing sensory perception channels.
A space elevator would be pretty bitchin’, but I’m far from sold on the idea. Even with carbon nanotubes I’m not sure you could make the structure strong enough to withstand the effects of wind shear. Nevermind just being able to support it’s own weight.
More power to them for wanting to try it though.
And heck, if Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi can get a book deal, then why not [Fox News “mole”] Muto? Anything he writes would be less sleazy (maybe?), definitely more well-written, and probably more entertaining.
This country deserves to serfdom.
to
Strike “to.”
Charlie don’t serf.
You know that it ain’t no good.
Gawker tries so hard to be relevant to, well, anything.
Anything he writes would be less sleazy (maybe?), definitely more well-written, and probably more entertaining.
Sure, if reading the passive-aggressive mewlings of a hopeless nerd who should have been bullycided years ago is considered entertainment.
Well, ain’t that America?
You and me.
Ain’t that America?
Home of the free.
Little pink houses
for you and me.
I hate that fucking song. That is all.
Not as much as I hate “Imagine”, I bet
Another awful song, and it is entirely possible you hate that more than I hate Little Stink Houses.
+1
Yeah. Imagine blows. Nothing like listening to a rich guy say “imagine there’s no property”.
It’s not the hypocrisy that bugs me – it’s
* the underlying totalitarianism – let’s all live as one
* the plodding rhythm
* the thin vocals
* the veneration it gets from fools
At least “Imagine” was used against the Bible thumping wannabe censor on WKRP in Cincinnati.
John Cutter Menstrualcramp.
I saw him several times when he was the warm-up act for bands like the Kinks. This was before he was famous and truth be told, he put on a hell of a show.
Undoing Glass-Steagall Did Not Cause Crisis
don’t tell that to anti-free market liberals. They blame everything on deregulation. They still buy the trope that Hoover cut government spending and caused the Great Depression while FDR saved us from it buy significantly increasing government spending.
it contributed while not being the proximate cause.
you notice how no one, including yourself, ever has an argument as to how this helped cause it?
Hoover cut spending? Scroll down to page 4, Figure 1.
Maybe they were doing baseline budgeting back then too. You know, not increasing as much as planned = “spending cuts”, or something like that.
protesters were killed in Cairo as demonstrations against military rule intensified. A presidential debate scheduled for tonight was postponed.
Thank goodness *we* don’t have military rule!
What Scott Brown’s and Elizabeth Warren’s tax returns show
For Warren, who demands higher taxes on the wealthy and blasts the tax code for “giving tax breaks to the already-rich,” voluntarily paying a slightly higher income tax rate on her Massachusetts return should have been a no-brainer. Since 2002, the Bay State has given taxpayers the option of paying 5.85 percent, rather than the usual 5.3 percent – a perfect opportunity for an affluent progressive like Warren, who is passionate about the “social contract” that obliges the rich to “pay forward” more of their wealth, to live up to the values she espouses.
But she hasn’t. Sooprise, sooprise.
I always laugh when I see the optional higher rate and wonder “who’s choosing to pay that?”
Apparently no-fucking-body. And that why I love that it’s an option.
Between 2006 and 2010, Brown’s returns show, he never donated more than 2.7 percent of his large income to charity. … But countless Americans who earn far less than Brown give away a far higher share of what they do earn
That should not be a “but.” It should be “As any person who’s not innumerate would expect, …”
Power really does corrupt as scientists claim it’s as addictive as cocaine
I suppose we can expect to soon see a “War On Power”.
Probably not but you sure can expect a War on Sugar any moment now.
One can only hope.
I take this to mean that since I did quite a lot of cocaine when I felt like it but didn’t get addicted then I can be trusted with absolute power.
You know who else ….
I’m still holding out for someone to go on a killing spree and say it was inspired by watching C-SPAN.
Hello! My name is Lionel Joseph! I am exchange student from Cameroon.
MERRY NEW YEAR!
Damn squirrels, eh?
It’s happy new year. In this country we say happy new year.
The left is always screaming about how dishonest and partisan FOX news is. They put a mole in there and his complaints are that O’reilly yells and that the bathrooms are awful? What the hell has that got to do with anything?
Typical lefty bullshit. An acquaintance of mine, who is lefty as hell, when pressed about the specifics of what she doesnt like about any particular figure on the right always replies to the effect of ‘ looking at him makes me sick’. I can never get anything out of her about policy.
FOX should put a mole in at MSNBC.
I’ve come to believe that it’s really a difference in style. Lefties like the NPR “indoors” voice, with a generous dollop of concernedness. Righties like people who SPEAK UP, dammit, so they can hear them, plus a general tone of disgust doesn’t hurt.
I hate both styles. The righties come off as perpetually outraged, which is exhausting. The NPR voice is the voice of the condescending concern troll.
You can’t really believe that…
/lefty concern troll
For people on the left, the source of policy is more important than the content.
very well put sarcasmic
For people on the left, the source of policy is more important than the content.
FTW!
for some yes. for others no
but ur on a roll like bluto so carry on…
Each side has its own pet issues that the voters pay attention to. Everything else is as you describe. The left votes based on abortion and stupid populism. And the right votes based on abortion and stupid populism… Man, I need to stop caring about politics.
me too. in the end, most of what passes as politics ends-up being just words in the wind
Yes, you do. I asked my ex why she’s going to vote for Obama again and she said “because he doesn’t make us look stupid to the world like Bush”. So apparently the left also votes on the willful ignorance of facts.
WTF? How can Bush be running again?
and so, you have discovered the real answer to the question of why she is your ex.
and so, you have discovered the real answer to the question of why she is your ex.

WARREN: I called myself Native American to make friends

Oh no you di-in’t!
Don’t forget the scalping. Boy, did he love his scalping.
Oh, paw-paw, never could gambol freely as he liked…[single tear rolls down cheek]
Made me laugh, you bastard!
Good lord. Didn’t Ward Churchill use the same argument as evidence of his “Native American” heritage–that one of his relative said they had it, therefore it was so?
SWPL dorks like these need to just accept that they were born white, and will remain white until they die. This is like a black person whose great-great-grandmother was a Russian Yid claiming he’s Jewish.
Nitpick alert: Isn’t Judaism a religion and not a race?
Technically I think it’s cosidered both. I got “corrected” once for making that same assertion.
Nope. It’s both. More on Ashkenazi specific genetic diseases.
Also, cultural and genetic differences b’twixt Ashenazi and Sepharic Jews.
So I assume this means that all of the lefties in Massachusetts will now be reluctantly voting for Scott Brown? Since she’s having a Macaca moment?
Don’t be silly.
Brown got a nice bump at Intrade. Hope it continues.
IIANM, the Cherokee don’t much care who your grandfather.
Tribal affiliation in matrilineal. If your grandfather married outside the tribe, you ain’t in it.
…the Cherokee don’t much care who your grandfather was.
Why o the Cherokee hate old men?
A child can have anyone as a father, but you always know exactly who the mother is.
It never occurred to me what the source of matrilineal inheritance was but that sounds reasonable.
But as was told to me about the Choctaw rolls, to be on them you have to have at least one grandmother on them.
That makes it possible for you to be a Choctaw if your father alone was one, but if you were to marry outside the tribe your children would not be.
If fairly sure, but could be wrong, that the Cherokee are the same.
Either way, claiming “indian heritage” because a great-great-great-grandfather was one is plain bollocks.
But as was told to me about the Choctaw rolls, to be on them you have to have at least one grandmother on them.
This is true of all The Five Civilized Tribes. However, since the numbers of highly blooded Natives is dwindling, that policy has come under some question. I don’t see the Cherokee Nation changing it anytime soon, however.
Thank you. I will consider that confirmation.
Also, IIANM, a number of Cherokee did not follow the Trail of Tears and have become more or less completely assimilated into mainstream society.
Even though they still tend to marry within what was traditionally their tribe, they do not live on reservations or claim any tribal affiliation.
Also, IIANM, a number of Cherokee did not follow the Trail of Tears and have become more or less completely assimilated into mainstream society.
That’s true. In Okieland, the racial and tribal identity is very strong, and a self segregating mindset is far from uncommon. Membership on rolls is a great source of pride and economic advantage via treatise and most do not live exclusively on the reservation’s lands, but then the argument is often made that it is (the entire state proper) their land.
Columbus Day in Okieland is not well received amoungst a number of the population, for some pretty good reasons.
Actually, I was thinking of Cherokees in The east.
I understand that there is a non trivial number of them in Eastern Kentucky and Tenessee and the Carolinas.
They are descendants of those who for whatever reason were not forced to go to Oklahoma. For the most part they are not affiliated with any tibe, IIANM.
All of that is correct, Kreel.
But did she take measurements of her grandfather’s skull? I’ve heard that’s the most advanced technique.
Fake job ads for torturers
The salary seems rather low
GOP Convention declared a free-fire zone by Governor Skeletor.
“lorida Governor Rick Scott has shot down a request by Tampa’s mayor to allow local authorities to ban guns from the city’s downtown during the Republican National Convention in August.”
Also, don’t these guys have editors? Passive voice in the first sentence? Weak, Reuters, weak.
“has shot down” is not passive voice. Passive would’ve been “a request has been shot down.”
(Just keepin it real.)
“has shot” is most certainly passive voice. Active voice would be: “Governor Rick Scott shot down a request…” The presence of the tense appropriate verb form of “to be” where it is not necessary gives it away.
“Has shot” is a present-perfect tense form. The voice is active because the sentence identifies the subject.
“has shot” is the present perfect tense in the active voice.
See, e.g., Harper’s English Grammar, p. 127.
It’s a perfectly cromulous construction.
This discussion is giving me a ladyboner.
Pictures or it didn’t happen.
I surrender. I stand by my statement that using the past tense made the sentence stronger.
It is in a past tense. The present perfect tense is used for an action that is complete (ie perfected) but has consequences now. It’s totally appropriate in the quote.
Don’t talk my word for it – take that of some other random stranger
Odhinn, who fucking cares. Can’t you assholes go run some stepwise regression or something similarly useful? I can’t fucking stand english majors. Fuck!
write r you. me know care more.
it is not the passive voice. It is active. The verb is in the present perfect tense.
I agree that it’s not passive voice.
Grammardome!
Once a thread uses the words “present perfect tense,” it is officially gay.
I’m not gay! I just like things to be well organized!
You know who else liked things to be well organized?
Raymond Babbitt?
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy skips lightly over this tangle of academic abstraction, pausing only to note that the term “Future Perfect” has been abandoned since it was discovered not to be.
Don’t forget the book on grammar for time travelers.
That quote is from that bit.
Hated are the grammer nazis.
To the grammar concentration camp with you!
I don’t know why that guy (Gov. Scott) is so unpopular.
My brother is a Paultard, and he tells me that ALL OF THEM are going to the RNC convention.
I think they should be able to carry. Someone needs to shoot down the OWS assholes who will be there throwing Molotov cocktails and whatnot.
That would be an interesting fight.

Too much corn-fed everything.

Pet peeve: There’s curves (see Beyonce, Eva Mendes, etc.) and then there’s being a big fat ass. Since when did “curvy” become synonomous with “being a fat fuck who eats too much”?
In an unrelated piece, Jabba The Hut was heard to remark of the Trade Federation: “They won’t do business with us because of our curves. We are forced into a black market economy on Tattoine because they can’t treat us as people because of their bigotry. Those sneaky Joozian bastards better change that or we’re gonna complain to the Multi-species Rights Commission, headed by Ba’al Organa on Alderaan.”

because no one gives a shit.
Is language like that really necessary Ken?
Absolutely.
Ken Shultz you have been fined 1 credit for your violation of The Ken Shultz Verbal Morality Code.
You said sh*t! Now Ron Paul is totally hopeless. Gary Johnson is now but an extra-corporeal memory.
Good job losing those wavering on the cusp, Ken. Jerk.
Show me how “shit” denigrates women for being women or minorities for being minorities, and I’ll never write “shit” again.
What color is shit?
Why should I? It’s not context, it’s the word. Pony up that credit, O Keeper of the Libertarian Ark of The Covenant.
Cease using profanities or all those precious independents will tuck tail and run!
I’ve pointed out several times it’s how the word is used.
Referring to a woman with that word is going after her for being a woman like calling a black man a racial slur is going after him because of his race.
There isn’t any occasion when it’s okay to call someone the “n-word”, but there are times when using the “c-word” isn’t as bad. But calling Tipper Gore the “c-word” is not one of the times when using it isn’t so bad.
There’s lots to go after Tipper Gore for being. Being a woman isn’t one of them.
I’ve explained this every time it’s come up. This isn’t hard to understand. This isn’t hard for people of average intelligence to understand. That’s why most people–even stupid people–avoid using racial slurs to refer to minorities or that word to refer to women.
This is easy.
There’s lots to go after Tipper Gore for being. Being a woman isn’t one of them.
Critique this: GWB was such a cunt for going into Iraq. Condi Rice was a cunt for leading the way.
Explain to all of us how calling her a “cunt” is going after her for being a woman if I called a man a cunt in the sentence preceding it? It’s a generic term for certain type of people, not specific to women. When will you get that through your thick skull, you fucking moron?
It’s a generic term for certain type of people, not specific to women. When will you get that through your thick skull, you fucking moron?
Link to a dictionary that doesn’t define that word as a denigrating term for woman.
I dare you.
Dare accepted. Gee, that took a long time.
FTL: Noun 1. cunt – a person (usually but not necessarily a woman) who is thoroughly disliked; “she said her son thought Hillary was a bitch”
bitch
disagreeable person, unpleasant person – a person who is not pleasant or agreeable
Where’s the link?
Actually, you just made yourself look ridiculous.
Here’s your link?
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/cunt
Right there:
cunt (knt)
n. Vulgar Slang
1. The female genital organs.
2. Sexual intercourse with a woman.
3.
a. Offensive Used as a disparaging term for a woman.
b. Used as a disparaging term for a person one dislikes or finds extremely disagreeable.
You see it?
You see anything that says it’s a denigration term for a woman?
I do!
You’re 0 for 1.
Keep scrolling, first of all. And second of all, many words in the English language have multiple meanings.
Here’s a perfect example. So next time one of us refers to someone as a dick, will you please come around and let the rest of us know what they meant? I’ll be confused as to whether or not they are disparaging the person (could be a man or a woman as far as I’m concerned) or referring to their occupation.
Fucking multiple meanings, how do they work?
Right, so in other words, you cannot find a dictionary definition of the c-word that doesn’t define it as denigrating to women.
…and it isn’t just my arbitrary judgement.
Thank you.
Right, so in other words, you cannot find a dictionary definition of the c-word that doesn’t define it as denigrating to women.
There is more than one definition that isn’t disparaging to women in the link I posted, Ken. Or are you not aware of the fact that words often have multiple meanings?
For instance, if I called someone a dick, it could mean different things in different situations. Or how about if I asked for a fag? It could mean two drastically different things.
You know what? I’m gonna make a statement here that is in no way meant to denigrate women. You are a fucking busybody cunt. And if you were a woman, you would be no less cunty for your busybody ways. Go and fuck yourself, you fucking cunt.
There isn’t any occasion when it’s okay to call someone the “n-word”
Tell that to Black America.
But calling Tipper Gore the “c-word” is not one of the times when using it isn’t so bad.
According to you. When Tipper Gore isn’t acting the statist cunt she is, then the word will no longer apply. You seem to conveniently forgot the other legitimate definitions of the word “cunt”, which you posted.
The problem is with you, Der Kunty Kommissar.
Tell that to Black America.
There isn’t any occasion when it’s okay for me to use that word, that’s for sure.
This seems relevant. Would it be as offensive if Randall said, “like a couple of cunts”?
Just walk away, Dr. Groovus. Don’t stare too long into the abyss of stupidity, lest the abyss of stupidity stare into you.
Yeah, what could be dumber than pointing out to other libertarians that the stupid shit they say is stupid, and that when they say it withing a libertarian context, they make libertarianism look stupid by association?
I know!
How ’bout trying to defend the use of the “c-word” as if it weren’t offensive to women?
That pretty dumb, too, isn’t it?
Shut the fuck up, Ken, you stupid obnoxious cunt. You are a child.
Shut the fuck up, Ken.
No.
That pretty dumb, too, isn’t it?
I currently live in a Central Southern state, Ken. I object to your use of “stupid hick”. (I personally don’t care, but I am making a larger point here, you self-important hypocrite.)
Shut the fuck up, bigoted cunt, unless you are prepared to omit any, and I mean any derogatory speech from your posts. Pompous asshole.
I grew up around plenty of stupid hicks. I knew a lot of good rural people, too, who were by no means ignorant nor proud of being stupid. Some of the smartest, intellectually most honest people I ever knew were relatively uneducated people where I went to school in central and Southern Virginia.
If you’re surrounded by people who are proud of being stupid, I feel sorry for you. But there’s no good reason to blame it on the South, though. No reason to blame it on me, either. I’m certainly not about to apologize for offending people who are proud of being stupid.
Apparently the NFL gave a shit. The bastards.
Texas voted best state for business by CEOs.
I heard it’s full of rednecks.
and what’s wrong with that?
They vote on cultural issues that don’t count for shit, alienating voters who would vote for common sense economic issues otherwise. This opens the door for ObamaCare, federal regulation of home loans, stimulus packages, bailouts of the UAW, etc., etc.
That’s my definition of a redneck–someone who’s proud of being ignorant as fuck on culture war issues. Anybody can, for instance, oppose gay marriage, but only a redneck can be publicly proud of opposing gay marriage for stupid reasons.
That’s what being a redneck is to me: you gotta be proud of your stupidity.
Is Texas full of people like that?
Yes, it is. Isn’t it.
Anybody can, for instance, oppose gay marriage, but only a redneck can be publicly proud of opposing gay marriage for stupid reasons.*
And you are the arbiter of what is and isn’t “stupid?” Just like you are the arbiter of what is and isn’t misogynistic?
Are you omnipotent or something, Ken? Or just an overly-sensitive asshole sometimes?
*I am no more opposed to state-sanctioned gay marriage than I am state-sanctioned hetero marriage.
And you are the arbiter of what is and isn’t “stupid?” Just like you are the arbiter of what is and isn’t misogynistic?
Yeah, that’s right.
Still, no matter what I say, going after a woman for being a woman is misogynistic, and calling a woman a word that–according to every dictionary I can find–is defined as being denigrating to women? Is denigrating to women in the minds of non-libertarians and alienates them. …regardless of my opinion.
In terms of what’s stupid? Stupid is as stupid does, Forrest. If the stupid, inconsequential opinions of rednecks are so stupid that they make swing voters feel like they have to vote against redneck values–even if doing so runs contrary to their own economic self-interests?
Then what those rednecks are espousing–with pride–is stupid regardless of how I arbitrate, isn’t it.
P.S. Why would anyone try to have a meaningful argument with someone who’s proud of being stupid? A rational response to that question is the sound of one hand clapping.
P.S. Why would anyone try to have a meaningful argument with someone who’s proud of being stupid? A rational response to that question is the sound of one hand clapping.
Makes me wonder why we are even conversing with you. Because you are hell-bent on making everything about perception rather than intent. If I intend to insult someone because they are a warmonger by calling them a “cunt,” why in the hell is it looked at differently because of the sex of the party I am referring to?
Here’s a test: I hate these cunts that took us to war for no good reason.
Am I 1/7th misogynist in my remark? Would it be OK if Condi Rice wasn’t in the picture?
Do you get our point now? You are the one that is exhibiting sexist behavior. You are the one that won’t treat women as an equal that can be insulted the same as any man.
Your bigotry sickens me.
Don’t you know sloop? Only rednecks can oppose gay marriage for stupid reasons.
Only rednecks can oppose gay marriage for stupid reasons.
I wasn’t saying that.
You can oppose gay marriage, or anything else, without being proud of being stupid. But, by my definition, being a redneck requires being proud of your stupidity.
If you’re proud of being stupid about something–gay marriage or anything else–then I’m happy to call you a redneck.
I’ve known lots of people like that. They’re so proud of being impossible to reason with, they can hardly contain themselves.
You can oppose gay marriage, or anything else, without being proud of being stupid. But, by my definition, being a redneck requires being proud of your stupidity.
Almost anyone can be described as stupid. Stupid is relative to the next smartest person. How smart are you?
I would describe most voters as utter and complete morons. As amply and repeatedly demonstrated, they are woefully ignorant about most things outside their TEAM worldview, oppose anything that isn’t approved by the tribe’s appointed leaders and very few ever try to actually educate themselves on any particular unapproved subject.
It rarely goes beyond “Ook! Fire bad!” and yet few can be called “rednecks.”
The people I’m talking about are proud of being stupid.
They will all but tell you they’re proud of being stupid.
Makes me wonder why we are even conversing with you. Because you are hell-bent on making everything about perception rather than intent. If I intend to insult someone because they are a warmonger by calling them a “cunt,” why in the hell is it looked at differently because of the sex of the party I am referring to?
I don’t make the rules. I’m just pointing out how they worke.
If you meant to insult the warmongers by calling them the “n-word”, very few people would understand your intent.
In case you haven’t caught on yet? Using the “c-word” works like that, too. It’s not as extreme as the “n-word”, but it’s on the same yardstick.
If you want to effectively communicate your opposition to the warmongers? You wanna stay off that yardstick completely.
Your enemies will use that against you. That’s what the media did to Ron Paul with his newsletters. That’s what average people do with what you say, too. They may not tell you about it, but that’s what they do. They associate you with libertarianism, they hear you use the “c-word”, and then they mentally cross libertarianism off their list.
I don’t make the rules. I’m just pointing out how they worke.
You’re trying to make the rules. But the resistance is strong.
If you meant to insult the warmongers by calling them the “n-word”, very few people would understand your intent.
That’s a pretty weak argument, since the only definition for “nigger” is based on race. There are definitions of “cunt” not based on sexuality. You have even admitted that on this very thread.
In case you haven’t caught on yet? Using the “c-word” works like that, too. It’s not as extreme as the “n-word”, but it’s on the same yardstick.
Every insult “is on the same yardstick.” And I’ll repeat: the only definitions of the word “nigger” are meant to disparage a race (unless it is uttered by a black man toward another black man). The word “cunt” has many non-gender specific definitions, as I pointed out.
If you want to effectively communicate your opposition to the warmongers? You wanna stay off that yardstick completely.
Then we should cease disparaging them in any way, shape or form. Because every negative term is on that yardstick somewhere. But we won’t do that, because we want people to know how much we despise them based on their actions. Which is where the difference in “cunt” and “nigger” lies. The definition of one is based on actions. The definition of the other is based on skin color. One is OK because people can control their actions. The other is racist based on skin color.
Really? You go off on anyone who dares use the word ‘cunt’ but you use ‘redneck’ with impunity?
Yeah, I guess I’m not worried about alienating rednecks.
Bigot.
From the Wiki: Redneck is a historically derogatory slang term used in reference to poor, uneducated white farmers, especially from the southern United States.[1][2] It is similar in meaning to cracker (especially regarding Georgia and Florida), hillbilly (especially regarding Appalachia and the Ozarks),[3] and white trash (but without the last term’s suggestions of immorality).[4][5][6]
Why do you ate poor people, Ken? And “cracker” has long been regarded as a racist term toward whites. And since intent isn’t relevant but the book definition is, I’m gonna have to call you out for being bigoted cunt that disparages entire groups of people based on their geography (the south), their income level (poor) and their race (white).
You make me sick, Ken. And your socio-economic warfare is setting back libertarianism every time you use the word in the presence of people who may be interested in many of our ideas.
So are you arguing that misogynistic and racist words are unacceptable now?!
Or are you maintaining that they’re okay and you should still keep using them?
Look at the way I defined redneck–if rednecks are defined as people who are proud of being stupid, then I hope to alienate as many rednecks from libertarians as possible.
If, on the other hand, my use of the word “redneck” alienates people who aren’t proud of being stupid? Then I’ll stop using that word and think of another one.
What about you? Now that you’re so concerned about alienating people by using certain terms, are you planning to stop using the “c-word” specifically to denigrate certain women?
I think I’ll call them “stupid hicks” now.
Unless somebody else has a better word?
I learn new stuff from you guys all the time! See? It’s not just about how much you guys learn from me!
“stupid hicks”
I see you have a very low opinion of those in Southern states. Probably every person with twang in their voice.
Bigot. Thanks for driving away potential Southern voters, Ken.
Why do you have to refer to them in a derogatory fashion at all?
Hmmmmm…not liking this treatment very much, are you?
Fuck him, doc. He’s still spinning like a top because I linked to an online dictionary that gave more that one definition to cunt. The fucker can’t stand the fact that words often have multiple meanings, and that the meaning is determined based on what the user was stating.
And maybe I’m retarded, but I just can’t wrap my mind around his opinion that if I refer to two people as a “pair of useless cunts,” I’m being sexist toward one of them (that happens to be a female), but not to the other (that happens to be a male). But maybe he just can’t grasp the meaning of the word intent.
I linked to an online dictionary that gave more that one definition to cunt.
You still can’t link to one dictionary–anywhere–that doesn’t define that word as a denigrating term to women?
Not one?!
Ha!
I identify with the South, actually.
Went to school in New Market, Va.
That’s what being a redneck is to me: you gotta be proud of your stupidity.
So Massholes are all rednecks too?
They think they’re smart.
They may be ignorant, but they’re not proud of being ignorant.
True rednecks will laugh at you while you’re trying to reason with them–for thinking they can be reasoned with.
Sounds fairly honest to me. Unlike your average Gimme Free Shit occupier.
I heard it’s full of rednecks.
Yes, full of employed rednecks
So that’s where Princess Leah went. Diguised herself as a blond and hiding out in the Ukraine. Me like.
Oh, yeah. Why can’t our corruptocrats be that easy on the eyes?
What, Debbie Waaaaaahsserman Schultz is not your style?
Poodle head and dumber than a box of hammers? No.
It would be tolerable if it would shut up.
*barf*
Can you imagine the poor schmuck who has to live with that?
“My parents are coming to dinner tomorrow night so you have to leave work early and stop at the deli and pick up a pound of potato salad not the deli on 15th the deli on 18th and make sure it’s the red potato salad but taste it first because if it’s too sweet I don’t want it get the german potato salad instead and make sure you get your dry cleaning in the morning because I don’t want the potato salad sitting in the car like last time when you bought it and it tasted like puke because you didn’t listen to me…”
I’m not normally attracted to DWS. But occasionally I ‘ll see a picture where her lips curled up on one side in a snarl and there’s just a glimmer of the infinate evil that lies within in her eyes. Then I want to do her like the demon girl that I know she is.
Go on, give yourself a scare:
The New Communism: Resurrecting the Utopian Delusion
I can’t look away.
Speed Limits for skateboarders caught going too fast? Looks like the LA City Council has solved every major problem facing them and can now move on to tweaking the system to create utopia.
Asshole wants to confiscate the decks of kids caught breaking skateboard laws. As if the cops don’t already smash their boards when they stop them.
Liberal busybodies to people: life is too dangerous. Just stay home.
Skateboarding is a crime!
I’ll throw out the same thought I had about speed limits for night snowmobiling: this is a self-correcting problem. One or two good wipeouts at speed and you are off the skateboard for a while. Sooner or later, junior will learn.
Or get better. If you want to be a good skateboarder, I think you need to accept that you will have some ugly crashes along the way.
The only way to know where your limits are is to bump up against them. Hopefully, you survive the experience.
Skateboarding crashes cost us [SOCIETY] 5 zillion dollars a year in healthcare, law enforcement and lost productivty of pimplie-faced kids.
Boot on the Neck – Do it for Society!
When this is what your city government wants, then this is what your city government gets. So don’t act surprised to see their police escorting rioters who are destroying businesses while over a dozen cops in riot gear stand guard in front of their well-armed station house.
Protip: a well-armed populus is a courteous populus. If these restaurant owners walked outside with shotguns, the rioters would have pissed their pants and run away.
FTA: Jeremy Tooker, owner of Fourbarrel Coffee, said a friend had stopped a protester from smashing the glass storefront with a crowbar – and had taken a hit to his arm. Someone else splashed paint on the window.
“This just seems like they’re frustrated with their impotency at this point,” Tooker said. “It’s like, ‘Look at me, I’m still here, I’m still occupying.’ “
I need to remember to go get a cup of coffee at this guy’s shop next time I’m in SF.
Hmmm…Fourbarrel Coffee as in Four-barrel carburetor? I like the cut of his jib.
One person was arrested on suspicion of a vehicle code violation and resisting arrest, Moser said. He was cited and released.
Scary stuff! I am certain the rest of the rioting horde was intimidated into decorous behavior after witnessing that!
Nice!
Shoot me now. Spontaneous my hardly withered taint.
The sad thing is, all those merchants will vote for her next time they get a chance.
If these restaurant owners walked outside with shotguns, [ the San Francisco cops would have arrested them leaving] the rioters would have pissed their pants and run away to continue their mayhem and vandalism unmolested.
just a lot of small businesses, which is what they’re all about
[citation needed]
I doubt if occutards are about any kind of business. Businesses make profits, and profits are evil, therefore all businesses, regardless of size, are evil. At least that’s what they were taught in their Agrieved Class Studies classes in college.
A friend sent this to me the other day and I thought I’d share:
This is today’s philosophy.
Sounds familiar.
Isn’t this the meta-explanation for the Elder Scroll games?
I’ve seen this movie. It was pretty awesome. At least the first one was, the 2 sequels were kind of shitty.
That was my response when my friend sent me the link. Although I really liked the whole trilogy.
“It’s a Jersey thing”
A mother of the year nominee.
Sun-burned ape and daughter discovered in Nutley, shakes Darwinian evolution to its core
She reminds of of this. Just a wee bit darker.
She looks like a burnished turd in a wig
Dorthy Spinner, from the Morrison run on Doom Patrol.
I wonder if Jersey hag also has reality-bending powers when she menstruates…
Talk about a lethal menstrual cycle…makes Carrie look like a piker.
This woman, who is apparently 44, looks as old as my MIL who is in her late 70’s.
I am conflicted about this story. If it turns out she did do this, throw the book at her. On the other hand, from this article, it says that a teacher pieced the kid going into the booth with the fact that the kid had a sunburn. The kid herself seemingly didn’t say she had been in the booth. So those two things do not necessarily correlate. Speaking as a soulless ginger myself, I literally start burning within less than a minute of going into sunlight. It doesn’t take a tanning booth to cause a fairly substantial burn on a redhead.
You’re an alabaster redhead, Demonica Archiva? Hmmmm…:-D
Haha yes, a soulless ginger 😀
MALE GAZE!
That picture reminded me of something. So I wrote a song for her:
Oompa Loompa Doopity Doo
I’ve got another puzzle for you.
If you are wise you’ll pay my words heed.
Like this Oompa Loompa mom in Jersey.
What do you get when your daughter’s all pale?
A trip to a booth where they’ll make her skin well.
And if she burns and her skin starts to boil.
Just send her back but all covered with oil.
Just like this bad mother did.
Oompa Loompa doopity do.
I’ve just given a lesson to you.
I hope you were wise and listened to me.
Like the Oompa Loompa do in Jersey!
She’s muff cabbage!
Rumplestiltskin!
Rumplestiltskin
Rumple stilt skin! Ok, if I break the word up will you let me post it squirrels?
guess so
Ke$ha, the liar
Joe Arpaio: not so bad now, is he?
Illinois Arizona Nazis. I hate Illinois Arizona Nazis.
Fix the cigarette lighter.
It’s 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it’s dark… and we’re wearing sunglasses.
Go!
Go? GO?
The proper response is “Hit it.”
I see my attempt at trolling got a bite. But 15 minutes? I am disappoint.
You don’t troll the Blues Brothers. It just isn’t done. *storms off in a huff*
So the Pinal County race was going to be between a gay Republican and a skinhead Nazi Democrat.
What is this, bizarro world?
Well, we’ve got a hopey-changey president who has, for the most part, continued and/ or doubled down on all the retarded policies of his predecessor, all the while continueing to blame his predecessor’s policies for the fucked up state of the country. And at least half the retards voters in this country will actually buy his BS, making what should be a slam dunk win for the republicunts anything but certain.
So yes, this is bizarro world.
Dr Hedgeh has a problem
