Register Today for Reason's Alaska Cruise, August 11-18, 2012!
Reason will take to the high seas in 2012 for our second annual cruise—and this time, we'll explore the magnificent Gulf of Alaska August 11-18 aboard Holland America's luxurious Westerdam!
If you caught the buzz about last year's Reason's cruise, you know that this is a chance to spend time getting to know some of the libertarian world's most original thinkers. Speakers on this year's Reason cruise include Reason Editor in Chief Matt Welch, Reason.tv Editor in Chief Nick Gillespie, pioneering UC Santa Barbara evolutionary psychologists Leda Cosmides and John Tooby, alternative American historian Thaddeus Russell, Reason Associate Editor and Obamacare-debunker Peter Suderman, and Reason economic columnist and Mercatus Center senior research fellow Veronique de Rugy.
The Westerdam is renowned for its warm hospitality, larger-than-average staterooms, outstanding food, and world-class service. As part of Holland America's luxury Vista class, this is one travel experience that you won't soon forget.

Wow, looks like a great wedding present for reason’s staff to get for a pair of dedicated libertarians who met on the site.
And then they laughed and laughed…
When we took our honeymoon cruise to Alaska, a lot of crewmembers told us to watch out for those dam ships.

Yeah, I’m not sure even a free trip could get me to voluntarily go into the city with possibly the most corrupt law enforcement apparatus in the nation. Fuck that.
So, is there a way to helicopter onto the deck from somewhere else? Epi, I need some help here.
Epi has a helicopter?
sloopy, how about asking dunphy for some help? Isn’t he in the area?
NAP aside, I really want to punch you right now.
Nice, a port stop through my city! Maybe I’ll finally get to touch the Leather Jacket of Liberty!
My wife and I have been talking about an Alaskan cruise for years.
The Westerdam is renowned for its warm hospitality, larger-than-average staterooms, outstanding food, 2007 norovirus outbreak and world-class service.
I’m sure they’ve scrubbed all the shit and vomit out by now. Bon Voyage!

Wow, I paid less than half of the price for my cruise to Mexico. And there was probably a lot more females on board.
On the other hand, there was also 1500 kids on board.
Interesting choice of cruise line. I’ve taken many cruises with HAL and while their service is top notch, the clientele tends towards the elderly. It ought to be interesting to throw in a bunch of libertine libertarians in that mix.
Now that looks like a lOT of fun!

The cruise last year was great, but where can I go to see about sharing a room with someone? I don’t have money to waste.
